The Joinery & Maintenance Company is a joinery, property maintenance and home improvement business run by Dane, based in Hessle and covering Hull and the surrounding towns. This policy explains how we handle any personal information you share with us through this website, by phone, by WhatsApp or by email.

When you get in touch to ask about a job or request a quote, we may collect:

• Your email address
• Details about the job or service you're enquiring about

We only collect what you give us directly, we do not buy in lists or gather information about you from anywhere else.

We use your information to:

• Respond to your enquiry and provide a quote
• Arrange and carry out any work you ask us to do
• Keep basic job and customer records, including for our 10 year uPVC workmanship guarantee where it applies
• Meet any legal, tax or accounting obligations

We do not use your information for marketing unless you've asked us to, and we never sell or share it with other businesses for their own marketing.

How we collect it

Contact form. Our website contact form is processed by a third-party service called Formspree. When you submit the form, your details are sent securely to Formspree and forwarded to us by email. Phone and WhatsApp. If you contact us this way, we may keep your number so we can respond and keep a record of the job.

Email. If you email us, we'll keep that correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to deal with your enquiry or job.

Cookies and website analytics

This website does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. It does use Google Fonts to display text on the page and an embedded Google Map to show our location in Hessle, both of which may involve your browser connecting to Google's servers when you visit. How long we keep your information

We keep enquiry and customer information only for as long as necessary to carry out the work, cover any warranty or guarantee period, and meet our legal or accounting obligations. After that, it's deleted or securely disposed of.

Your rights

• Ask us to correct anything that's inaccurate
• Ask us to delete your information
• Object to how we use your information
